The Wood Work Therapy Metal Business Card Alignment Template is a reusable eight-card fixture designed to help you position standard rounded-corner metal business cards accurately and consistently for laser engraving.

Instead of aligning cards one at a time, this template holds up to eight cards in a repeatable 2 × 4 layout. Each card pocket includes a raised positioning brim to help keep the card aligned left, right, top, and bottom, along with outer-edge finger-removal points that make finished cards easier to lift without disturbing the template.

How It Works

1. Place the physical template squarely on your laser bed.
2. Open the included LightBurn file or import the SVG without resizing it.
3. Align the digital guide with the physical template.
4. Place your artwork inside the desired card positions.
5. Insert the metal business cards and confirm each one sits flat.
6. Use your laser software’s Frame or Preview function before engraving.
7. Engrave the cards and remove them using the outer finger-removal points.

Important Compatibility Information

Metal business card dimensions and corner radii can vary slightly between manufacturers. Always test your specific card blanks before beginning a full production batch. Do not force oversized or unusually shaped cards into the pockets.

The included digital alignment files must remain at their original scale. Resizing the LightBurn or SVG guide can cause the engraving positions to no longer match the physical fixture.

Laser Safety

• This product is an alignment fixture only.
• Do not engrave or cut the printed template.
• Always frame or preview the job before engraving.
• Confirm the laser path remains completely inside the metal card area.
• Never leave an operating laser unattended.

The downloadable files are included with the purchase of the physical product. After payment is completed, access will be provided through the order confirmation, customer account, or download email, depending on your checkout and order settings.
